Why Engineering College Students are not Industry-Ready?

According to the National Employability Study in IT product companies and ITES sector conducted by 'Aspiring Minds', an assessment technology company based in Gurgaon, the majority of fresh engineering students are not industry-ready. They are not employable because they lack skills to enter an industry or corporate.

 

This study can be an eye opener to all the fresh technical graduates across India. For employability in the highly competitive IT/ITES sector, a freshers requires training to be eligible for any job. This survey also found that MCA sudents have great potential with regard to IT Product companies if their Quantitive and English communication skills are improved. MCA graduates can do better than engineers in programming skills, whereas they are not as good as engineers  in English, Logical and Quantitative ability.
