LIC India is recruiting Apprentice Development Officers for 5578 vacancies

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is hiring across India for 5578 vacancies available of Apprentice development officers. You can read zone wise break up of vacancies.

 

For north zone, New Delhi which includes Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan,Chandigarh and Delhi, there are 727 Posts.

 

For North Central Zone, Kanpur which includes Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, there are 718 Posts.

 

Central Zone, Bhopal which covers Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, there are 415 Posts.

 

For  East Central Zone, Patna which covers Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, there are 614 Posts.

 

For Eastern Zone, Kolkata which covers West Bengal, Assam, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, North Eastern States, there are 713 Posts.

 

For South Central Zone, Hyderabad which covers Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, there are 685 Posts.

 

For Southern Zone, Chennai which covers Tamilnadu and Kerala, there are 634 Posts.

 

For Western Zone, Mumbai which covers Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra, there are 1072 Posts

 

Selection process

 

Selection will be made on the basis of a Written Test on Sunday, 13/06/2010 followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the written test which will be of objective type, multiple choice of two hours duration comprising of the following two papers: 1. Test of Reasoning and Numerical Ability. 2. General Knowledge, Current Affairs and English Language with Special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary.

 

Important Dates

 

Acceptance of application fee at Branch Offices of LIC begins on 17.03.2010 and ends on 17.04.2010.

 

On-line Registration starts on 17.03.2010 and ends on 17.04.2010

 

Written Test is on Sunday, 13th June, 2010
