Every country, has a history, story of leadership, tales of success, stories of heroism and courage,  glimpses of hope and glory. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru said on the onset of Indian Independence"At the stroke of the midnight hour when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom". The visionary prime minister could understand the importance of oil and its conservation. The absence of oil points to weakness.  A multinational company that time said that we don't have much oil reserves except some on the north east India. Keshav Dev Malviya, the father of petroleum industry in India took the initiative of oil exploration in India and gave India the chance, the opportunity to shape a modern India. This change has led present youth to think of a developed country. Absence of oil reports weakness. At the time of war in 1968 when Pakistan attacked India, these oil industries served lot and helped our tricolor to fly across the sky. US, Iraq, Arab have only developed due to so much of oil flowing.

The reasons we must  accede to be part of energy industry are

7.      Some of the oil companies are into the fortune 500, which gives a sense of pride and will make us work more for the betterment of the company.

8.      Energy sector is one of the richest  and well paid sector

Today the day has come where we cannot think a life without energy, without fuel, without electricity. The future of energy industry lies on us. To ensure that our progress is maintained, we need to bring an optimum balance between nature and human requirements. Requirements can not be stretched beyond a point, if it's done at the cost of nature. This is the high time when we eye on the other sources of energy. We can also start innovating ideas like use of ethanol with petrol, renewable resources integrated with fossil fuel. Oil demand in India is increasing day by day. Around 70% of crude is imported. So, it is the time to understand the need of the hour. The need of the hour is to use the resources efficiently and effectively.

We need to use, to innovate better technologies, work hard for the betterment of the industry as well as the country. As the demand is increasing day by day and what we lack are more exploration works. Exploration work in India needs to speed up. We can also use or think to use other energy resources. A recent invention was a car running with electricity as well as fuel. Such type of multi-energy utilization systems need to be enhanced and improved. We talk of solar power, hydro power; but this energy resource does not produce that much energy which is produced by the fossil fuel. So, we as a part of energy industry must enhance the idea of improving the idea of saving the fuel for strategic and future use.
